Kino Indonesia Tbk (Kino) started as a small distribution company known as PT Dutalestari Sentratama (DLS), which was established in 1991. Taking advantage of the opportunities that existed at that time, DLS carried out business development by establishing PT Kino Sentra Industrindo (KSI) as a snack production company in 1997 which continued to actively create various kinds of snack products such as candy, snacks, and chocolate, as well as producing flavored drinks in the form of powder which until now is sold in the Indonesian and foreign markets. The first product launched by KSI was "Kino Candy".

Seeing the success of previous achievements, in 1999, the Company established PT Kinocare Era Kosmetindo as a manufacturer of various body care products for all genders and ages. In 2014, PT Kinocare Era Kosmetindo changed its name to PT Kino Indonesia. The first product launched by the Company was the 2-in-1 "Ovale" facial cleanser, followed by the "Ellips" hair vitamin, "Resik-V" soap specifically for women's areas, and "Eskulin" perfume in gel form. These products have successfully received a positive response from the Indonesian market so that they have a significant impact on Kino's business growth. The latest innovation in this segment has also been made through the production of herbal toothpaste with an Islamic concept, namely "Sasha".

In 2003, the Company again expanded its business segment through product diversification in the baby care and household segments marketed under the brand name “Sleek Baby” until now it has become one of the market leaders for baby equipment cleaning products in Indonesia. For more than 16 years, "Sleek Baby" products have continued to grow and are produced in various baby and household care products through the products "Sleek Baby Bottle, Nipple, and Accessories Cleanser" and "Sleek Baby Laundry Detergent" and "Sleek Baby Antibacterial Diaper. In 2011, the Company obtained a license from Wen Ken Drug Co Pte Ltd, Singapore to manufacture, market and distribute the "Cap Kaki Tiga" freshener solution.
