Description
Panca Budi Group was founded by Djonny Taslim in 1979 and started his career as a general trader distributing finished plastic bag products made from PP, HDPE, and PE raw materials. In 1990, Djonny Taslim founded the Company to manufacture and distribute finished plastic bag products. The Company started commercial operations by producing plastic bags in 1991. In 2003, the Company received ISO 9001 certificate for its production process management. The Company is an integrated company that produces and distributes plastic packaged goods. The Company's business activities include the trading of plastic pellets, plastic packaging production, and distribution of plastic packaging, both domestic and export.
The company is the first company in Indonesia to have a brand on plastic bag finished products. The first brand to be sold was Pluit and subsequently developed other brands such as: Tomato, Bangkuang, Jeruk, Chili, 222, Wayang, Gapura, Sparta, Liberty, Dayana, PB and several other brands. In addition, the Company is also the first company in the field of plastic bag finished products to obtain a Halal certificate from the Indonesian Ulema Council in 2013 and record the Indonesian World-Record Museum in 2013.
The first market to be reached by the Company is Jabodetabek and it is gradually being developed to reach all of Indonesia. In 2011, the Company established PT. Panca Budi Niaga as a distribution company for finished plastic bag products produced by the Company. The company distributes its finished products with several distribution channels, namely:
Direct distribution company to retail traders in traditional markets;
Distribution companies to semi-wholesalers to retailers in traditional markets; and
The company distributes to wholesalers to semi-wholesalers to retailers in traditional markets.
The Company is also the first company in Indonesia to advertise on TV for plastic bag finished products and has received various best brand awards from MARS. The Tomato brand has received the best brand award since 2009 with the Platinum best brand in 2015. Meanwhile, the Wayang brand has received the best brand award since 2010 with the Platinum best brand in 2016.
The company started exporting plastic bag finished products in 2006. Its export markets are England, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, UAE, Nigeria, United States, Taiwan etc.
The company also added factories to several cities as production bases for its finished products, such as: in the city of Solo - Central Java, Medan - North Sumatra, Tangerang - Banten, Cilegon - Banten. The factory in Cilegon, Banten is a factory that produces heavy duty sacks as plastic bags that store plastic pellets.
With consistent business from time to time, the Company has now developed into one of the market leaders for plastic bag products that always give priority to customers. In order to provide maximum service, the Company utilizes all marketing, sales and delivery personnel who are capable of distributing to all marketing areas.
