The development of the CAS Group began with the establishment of PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS Airport Services) in 1984, in order to meet the needs of air transportation support services at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, which also began operating in the same year. At that time, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS Airport Services) provided ground handling and cargo handling services at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Along with the growth of air transportation business activities, in 2003 PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAS Aero) was established to provide line maintenance and aircraft release services.. In the same year, PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAS Aero) entered into a strategic partnership with the Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIA-EC). Furthermore, in 2004, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS Airport Services) listed shares on the Surabaya Stock Exchange and started a strategic partnership with SATS (Singapore Airport Terminal Services) Ltd. in the same year.
In line with the development and increasing needs of air transportation service business activities, PT Cardig Aero Services, Tbk. (CAS Group) was established in 2009. Furthermore, on December 5, 2011, PT Cardig Aero Services, Tbk. (CAS Group) listed its initial shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In 2012, CAS Group invested in catering services companies (PT Purantara Mitra Angkasa Dua) and PT Cardig Anugra Sarana Bersama which served facility management.
