Description
Senyum Indonesia is a Non-Governmental Organization that was established to assist and share in the fields of economics, education and health to those in need based on Islam. The foundation that was born in Bandung on March 10, 2015 was formed on the idea of several Muslim students from ITB, UNPAD, and UPI who were initially moved to save the fate of children's education in remote areas of West Java who have not yet received proper formal education rights. Based on that, Pondok Senyum Indonesia was established. Those who are members of this cottage received Islamic, professional training and formal education in public schools in the city of Bandung.
In achieving its goals, in addition to Pondok Senyum Indonesia, the foundation is directly fostered by Mr. Prof. Dr. H. Miftah Faridl is also rolling out a number of other programs ranging from social services to the handling of disadvantaged patients from the region. Student volunteers from various universities in Bandung continue to gather and move to do various social actions through this Indonesian Smile container.
Some of the programs that are routinely carried out by Indonesian Smiles include Indonesian Smile Cottage, Indonesian Smile Student Dormitory, Qurban Runaway, Ramadan Love, Manuk Hiber, March Merit, Stocking Food for the Street, Visits to Nursing Homes and Orphanages, Disaster Response, and Heaven Road.
