The Charles Dickens Primary School was opened in 1971 and has been a State European School since the 1992/93 school year. The school is named after the famous socially critical English writer Charles Dickens (1821-1870). As a state European school, it has a German elementary school branch and a German-English European branch. The school is located between the Olympic Stadium and Grunewald. The approx. 450 students have a German-English library, 2 computer rooms, a well-equipped student kitchen and a spacious cafeteria.
